What data do we use and why?

• Your application: name, e-mail, possible telephone number, message, project interest and residence wishes. We use those to answer you and on your request to prepare a purchase or cooperation. The legal basis is taking steps on your request before a contract.
• The follow: correspondence and dossiernotities for personal guidance and any agreement.
• Newspapers : Your email address, registration date and consent, only when you voluntarily register. The legal basis is your consent; you can always withdraw via info@sunstates.immo and through the possibility of withdrawal in a sent newsletter.
• and security: technical request data for operation, prevention of abuse and security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure website.
• The statistics: Google Analytics will only be loaded after your consent. You can withdraw it via ‘Cookie Preferences Change’ below the website.

We do not sell your data.We do not use exclusively automated decision-making that has legal or similar significant consequences for you.

With whom can data be shared?

Hosting and technical storage are carried out via OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Combell provides the existing domain and e-mail services. When you allow statistics, Google Analytics processes visitor data. These service providers may process data for their service. For your receipt request, we can share the necessary data with the concrete building provider, local sales partner or advisor; we will inform you before that transfer. You can also contact that party yourself.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

International technical service providers may process data outside the EEA. The GDPR requires an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or standard contractual provisions. You can ask us which service providers and guarantees apply to your processing.

How long do we store data?

We keep the application and file data as long as your request, cooperation or agreement is followed. After that, storage is only necessary as long as a legal storage obligation applies or the data is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of rights. The need depends on the type of file and the applicable period. Newsletter data will be used as long as your registration is active. After the withdrawal, a minimum withdrawal registration may remain necessary to prevent you from being re-enrolled. Cookie and browser storage will be revealed in the Cookie Policy.

Your Rights

You can request information, correction, deletion, limitation, objection or transfer via info@sunstates.immo. You can withdraw your consent without this affecting the previous legitimate processing. For data we need for a legal obligation or a lawsuit may be an exception. We will answer your request in principle within one month; in case of a complex request we will tell you why more time is needed. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity.

You can file a complaint to the Belgian Data Protection Authority or with the supervisor of your residence, for example, the The Spanish AEPD.

Contact and Changes

A contact request can only be processed if you provide sufficient contact details. A newsletter subscription is never required to use our services. New versions of this statement will be published on this page.
